WPC 2012 Photography Competition
Do you like growing potatoes and taking photos?
We are looking for amateur photographers from around the potato industry worldwide to take eye-catching, thought-provoking (and even humorous!) images of life in the potato industry around the globe.
We aim to create a photo montage on the World Potato Congress website and at the Congress itself. And to create a lasting image of the potato and the people that work with potatoes and consume potatoes as our industry strives to create new opportunities for this ubiquitous crop and its role in feeding the world’s growing population.
The competition categories are:
- Growing and On the Farm
- Science, Mechanisation and Machinery
- People and Potatoes
- Markets and Customers
- Challenges and/or Successes
- The Future
Entries can be submitted for as few or as many categories as you wish. Winning entries from each category will be displayed at WPC 2012 and the best overall picture will be judged and announced during the event.

Entries that do not conform to the competition rules will not be considered.
